A colourful Antique Suffragette curb bracelet made during the Edwardian era, Circa 1915. The piece is made up of solid 15ct Yellow Gold links and decorated with Pearls, Amethysts and Peridots.
Suffragette jewellery was worn to show one’s allegiance to the women’s Suffragette movement in the early 20th century and popularly consisted of Purple, Green and White stones which symbolised: Purple for Loyalty, White for Purity and Green for Hope.
The piece is wonderfully put together and held securely around the wrist with the addition of a box clasp and safety chain.
